Thank you for taking the time to look at my web page. I would like to take this opportunity to share some of the experiences and influences that have shaped me on my journey here, where I am passionately and lovingly producing handcrafted Orgone pieces.
As a child, I was fortunate enough to have been introduced to the practice of Yoga and Martial Arts, and I studied Judo for several years. I continued to learn about the different styles: Kung Fu; Karate; Tae Kwon Do; Tai Chi. My experience of practising yoga and martial arts also introduced me to the idea of Chi, Qi, Ki or Prana, and for me these concepts made sense. I also remember seeing as a child my mother being treated by an Acupuncturist (now a recognised treatment) and they use to spend time with me explaining how they used the natural meridian lines that exist within our bodies to boost the ‘Chi’ energy to aid healing. My interest in alternative ways of looking after our physical and mental well-being motivated me to learn about the fundamental principles of Yoga as an adult. This led me to undertake intensive Hatha Yoga practice. Around this time I became very interested in the beneficial effects of crystals and crystal healing. Through extensive personal research in this area I have learned about the healing properties of crystals and amassed a large personal crystal collection, which I have used to my benefit my own wellbeing.
My journey so far has also led me to learn about other natural healing methods including Reiki. I started my Reiki Practitioner training in 1999, leading to successful completion of Reiki Master training in 2004. At this time I became more informed of the different concepts around natural energy, in particular through the extensive experiential learning through practice. These energy forces have different names in various cultures including; ‘Chi’ – Chinese Culture, ‘Qi’, ‘and Ki’ from Japanese Culture and ‘Parana’ from Indian culture, and I have the upmost respect for this divine energy form. Reiki itself is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin, not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is a subtle and effective form of energy work, which uses spiritually guided life force energy, as the meaning of the word Reiki demonstrates: ‘Rei’ is Japanese word meaning “Universal Life” and (Ki) means “Energy”. This life energy flows through all living things, and we Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others.
I have always had a passion for music and poetry and I started to write and perform my own songs as a child. I was invited by a friend to perform at Stevenage folk festival at the age 14, and I continued to practice guitar, leading me to study towards a Jazz Degree at Manchester University. My interest in world music and especially the Sitar led me on a journey to seek out a teacher. I travelled to Varanasi, one of the holiest cities on the banks of the Ganges in Northern India; to the household of Kishan Maharaj, a Tabla Master to seek out his son in law Narendra Mishra, a Sitar Master, to formally ask if he would teach me. I feel very blessed to have learnt Sitar under this great Guru in India. His teaching was not only of Raga’s, but also taught me to appreciate and access the spiritually contained in the music. I continue to work with music and sound, not only with my own instruments but also with crystal healing music.
Over the years I have become more interested in the spiritual development of people and how we all develop in different ways through our own personal relationships with others as well as connecting with our innate connection and relationship with Mother Nature. My research in human spiritual development has led me to develop my knowledge in various disciplines including; Astrology, Sacred Geometry, Physics, Buddhism and the laws of the human universe. Other ideas that I am interested in include; Reincarnation, Karma, Synchronicity, Power of Positive Psychology, Meditation, and the god brain.
I live in St Anne’s On Sea, on the Lancashire coastline and am very much inspired by my environment, in particular the beautiful sand dune coast where I try and walk every day. I continue to work on my music and have recently been inspired to develop my designs into making Orgone pieces, which I have been making for quite some time now for my own use, as well as for family and friends. Please read my orgone pages and review the research. I feel very grateful to have come full cycle where I am working and surrounded by Orgone and Crystal energy, whereby I am continuing to learn about these natural energy forces and how they can be used to benefit our own physical and mental wellbeing.
